🌿 Our new Outdoor Learning Space is here! 🌿

We’re so excited to celebrate the completion of a beautiful new outdoor learning space at Oakwood Elementary, made possible through the generous support of the Oakwood PTA and the Wayzata Education Fund! 💚

This special space gives our students a place to learn, explore, gather, and connect with nature—bringing learning beyond the classroom and into the outdoors.

A huge thank you to Dorin Design for helping bring the vision to life, and to Wayzata Grounds & Facilities for their partnership and support throughout the project. We’re so grateful for everyone who helped make this space possible!
We can’t wait to watch the bushes grow, the greenery flourish, and—most importantly—see this space filled with children learning, exploring, and making memories for years to come. 🌱📚💚

We’re gearing up for Oakwood PTA’s BIGGEST fundraiser of the year—and this is your chance to be part of it! 🍂💙

Our Fall Fitness Fundraiser is a fun, high-impact event for our students and an amazing opportunity to gain visibility for your business while supporting Oakwood Elementary. Sponsors receive promotion across our school community—including logo placement on event t-shirts and more!

As we wrap up an incredible school year, we’re so proud of all the ways the PTA supported Oakwood students and staff! From teacher appreciation and the Science Fair to the Carnival, Global Explorers, field trips, and more—this year was full of connection, fun, and meaningful experiences.

What an incredible Teacher Appreciation Week at Oakwood! 🌸💛

Our amazing staff was showered with love last week—from creating beautiful flower bouquets to enjoying a fun soda bar, delicious lunch and cake, and a trail mix bar to keep them fueled throughout the days.

We are so grateful for our dedicated teachers and staff who give so much to our students every day. And a huge THANK YOU to our wonderful Oakwood community—your support of the PTA makes it all possible to celebrate and appreciate them in such special ways!
