With just over one month until school starts, we're excited to help families make the most of the rest of summer!

We're incredibly grateful to have received funding through a State of Michigan Out-of-School Time Grant in partnership with HEART Blossom. Thanks to this support, our August camps are being offered FREE or at a reduced cost for families.

🚴 HAWK Cycling - FREE, certificate & bike repair kit upon completion

We're also excited to offer FREE daily pickleball for students K-12 from 10:00 AM–12:00 PM at the PARC Pickleball Courts, with equipment provided and a limited number of reserved spaces available. Additional court space is available at the PARC tennis courts. Registration is required to participate.

🌼 Pending Event! Join us and the Plymouth Pollinators on Sunday, August 2, from 2:00–4:00 PM for a fun afternoon celebrating pollinators and nature. More details and registration information will be shared soon!

As part of the grant requirements, both students and parents must complete a brief post-camp survey following participation.

And we're not done yet! Mark your calendars for one final afternoon event at PARC on Monday, August 31, from 12:00–4:00 PM. We'll be announcing all the details soon, so stay tuned!

From West African folklore to the cartouches of Ancient Egypt, our students brought history and art to life! Last week’s Fine Art Fest at Steppingstone was a spectacular display of creativity and student voice. Our artists didn't just present their visual art; they took center stage to speak articulately about their work, giving insight into their inspirations and techniques.

Highlights from this year’s integrated showcase included: A brilliant, high-energy performance of the classic West African folktale Anansi the Spider! A gorgeous display of personalized hieroglyphic cartouches, created as part of our deep dive into the history and culture of Ancient Egypt.

Watching our students bridge history, literature, and the fine arts while confidently presenting to a live audience is exactly what makes our curriculum so unique. Swipe through to see our young actors, historians, and artists in action!

Every child deserves an education that rises to meet their potential. Yet, for gifted children, standard educational models often fall short. It is estimated that while two to five percent of our population is gifted—crossing all ethnic, racial, and gender lines—too many children are left behind due to deeply rooted myths and institutional misconceptions about how they learn. Advanced intellect doesn't mean a child will 'just figure it out on their own.' In fact, gifted children face distinct cognitive, social, and emotional complexities that require a fundamentally different approach.

For nearly 40 years, Steppingstone School in Plymouth, Michigan, has stood as a specialized answer to this challenge.
