Congratulations to Beth Webster on being named the MCAC Coach of the Year for the inaugural season of Boys Volleyball! This honor was voted on by the coaches in the league. Coach Webster (or Webbie as her players affectionately call her), was the longtime coach of our Varsity Girls Volleyball program before she retired from coaching. She wasn't retired for long, as she assumed the Assistant Coach position for the Varsity Girls Basketball program, and has continued in that role for a few years. Then in 2025, when the MCAC announced the inclusion of Boys Volleyball as a spring sport, she was asked to be our head coach and thankfully, she agreed to do so with her son, James, as her assistant coach. The team went on to win the first ever MCAC BOYS VOLLEYBALL CHAMPIONSHIP! Congratulations to Coach Beth, Coach James, and the 2026 Boys Varsity Volleyball Team!

We congratulate our Class of 2026! Commencement Exercises took place Friday, May 22, 2026. Tava McLeish was the class Valedictorian and Grant Vikander was the class Salutatorian. Honor cords were given to twelve of the seventeen seniors, indicating their GPA was above 3.4 for their high school career. We have enjoyed seeing this group grow in their love for the Lord and in their leadership abilities, and we are excited to see how God will use them in the future.

We recognized Mr. Levi Kolwinska, our Music Director here at Fourth Baptist Christian School, for his 25 years teaching music at our school. An alumni choir sang a special arrangement of "Chosen As His Children," a favorite hymn of Mr. K's. Here are a few more photos from the evening.
Mr. Kolwinska, you have touched the lives of so many students (and parents!) throughout your 25 years at FBCS. You have taught many of our children from their elementary school years how to play band instruments, handchimes, handbells and also to sing!! As they grew, you continued to challenge them and teach them that music is made for ministry! Our fine arts program wouldn't be the excellent program that it is - and a highlight of our school - without YOU - your time, talent, dedication and vision. We are all blessed by your musicianship and leadership! π
