Five schools in Robbinsdale Area Schools have grown this year, and Seven Dreams wants to help them build their new community together.

These one-time grants, Reimagine Community: Growing Together!, are available to Lakeview Elementary, Neill Elementary, Zachary Lane Elementary, Plymouth Middle School, and Sandburg Middle School.

Building administrators at each school have received the grant application. If you're an educator at one of these schools and have an idea for a community-building activity or initiative, please let your administrator know! The application is simple, and your school could receive up to $1,500 to help with these efforts.

The deadline is October 16, but applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, so don't wait!

What does Seven Dreams actually do? ⁠

Our work focuses on funding unique, experiential learning opportunities for all students in Robbinsdale Area schools, and we do so primarily in two ways. ⁠
⁠
⭐️ Each spring, teachers across the district are invited to apply for a Hands-On Learning Grant funded by Seven Dreams thanks to the generous donations of community supporters; past projects include a functional living skills program for middle school students, dramatic play centers for early learning, artist residencies, and more. ⁠
⁠
⭐️ Our Instruments 4 Kids program gets band and orchestra instruments into the hands of students who may not otherwise have access to these programs. We facilitate the donation of instruments to Robbinsdale Area Schools for lending to students whose families can't afford to rent or purchase one. Thanks to the generosity of our community, we have provided more than 500 instruments!

We've updated our logo, and now it's time to actually (re)introduce ourselves.

Hi, we're Seven Dreams Education Foundation, and we're a 501(c)(3) nonprofit whose sole focus is providing students in Robbinsdale Area Schools with unique, hands-on learning opportunities. Each star in our logo represents the seven cities that make up the school district we serve: Brooklyn Center, Brooklyn Park, Crystal, Golden Valley, New Hope, Plymouth, and Robbinsdale. Seven cities-seven dreams.

Congratulations to the team members of Cooper’s girl volleyball on starting their season with a win!

Robbinsdale Cooper girls volleyball opened the 2026 season on a high note last week, beating Tri-Metro Conference opponent Brooklyn Center 3-0 on the road in its season opener.

🎵All We Ask of You: Don't Cry For Underfunded Arts-the Memory of theatre shouldn't fade in the moonlight.

The Andrew Lloyd Webber Initiative invests in public schools to help theatre teachers get more resources to create new opportunities and strengthen existing programs.

Applications are due September 18, so don't risk going Past the Point of No return by missing this deadline!

The 2026-2027 school year is just around the corner, and Seven Dreams Education Foundation felt this was a perfect opportunity to undergo a simple refresh!

Seven Dreams Education Foundation has been supporting learners in Robbinsdale Area Schools since 2003, and that's not going to change. We continue to fund our key initiatives-Hands-On Learning Grants and Instruments 4 Kids through donations and sponsorships, and we are working on going bigger than ever on those.

What is changing is how you may recognize us online and in marketing: we have a new logo!

In 2003, our story was just beginning. In 2026, we want to make sure our logo reflects the chapters of our work so far and the ending that isn't written yet.

We love to see Robbinsdale Area Schools students showcasing their talents in the community!

Our team of volunteers is always keeping an eye out for opportunities to shout out schools and celebrate with families, but we can't be everywhere at once!

If you know of an upcoming event where one of our school communities will be featured, let us know! If we can, we will try to have one of our volunteers there, but you are more than welcome to send us pictures of the event, and we will be happy to highlight them!

Students in Robbinsdale Area Schools are amazingly talented, creative, and are off to achieve great things and we are proud to support them!
