During Starkweather Academy's Senior Breakfast, the Rotary Club of Plymouth AM had one more special surprise in store. They presented Starkweather Cafeteria Manager Amy McGrath with the 2026 Plymouth Rotary AM Community Peace Builder Award!
Amy does far more than prepare nutritious meals. She creates a welcoming environment, builds meaningful connections with students and staff, and offers support, encouragement, and kindness every day β always with a smile.
Over the years, countless students have shared the positive impact Amy has had on their lives, making this recognition especially meaningful and well-deserved.

ππ Congratulations to P-CEP seniors Misha Srinivasan and Angelina Gampala on being named 2026 National Merit Scholarship recipients!
Misha and Angelina are among just 31 students in Michigan selected during the latest round of National Merit Scholarship announcements and join five other P-CEP seniors who have earned this prestigious honor this year. Together, they represent the highest number of National Merit Scholarship recipients from a single graduating class in recent memory for P-CCS.
Both students plan to pursue careers in medicine and were recognized for their outstanding academic achievement, leadership, extracurricular involvement, and commitment to excellence.
We are incredibly proud of Misha, Angelina, and all seven members of the P-CEP Class of 2026 who have earned National Merit Scholarships. Their success reflects the hard work of our students, the support of their families, and the exceptional opportunities available throughout P-CCS.
π Join us in congratulating these outstanding scholars!

πΆ What an incredible accomplishment!
East Middle School seventh-grader Jaylan Li recently composed an original piece of music that was performed by the bandβa remarkable achievement and a testament to his creativity and talent. Equally impressive, East band director David Smit wrote a piece for the sixth-grade band that students brought to life through performance.
Congratulations to Jaylan, David, and the entire East band program on this outstanding achievement! ππ΅
The recorded concert is more than just a performance; it showcases the innovation, dedication, and musical excellence happening every day in our schools.
