Thank you to Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association (MLBPAA) for leading and Granite State Railway for sponsoring today's FREE clinic for our area youth! We had over 60 registrants from the Plymouth, Meredith and Littleton areas who got instruction from seven former big leaguers. What a great experience! Be sure to watch for the story on WMUR-TV tonight.

The 13-16 Babe Ruth Tournament Team is moving on to the state finals!

Plymouth took a 2-0 lead in the top of the first on Will's two-run single and that was all Masyn would need as he delivered an absolute gem on the bump, going the distance with 7 strikeouts and just 4 hits allowed to earn the complete game shutout. Team defense was great as Colby and Josh made nice running catches in the outfield, Connelly showed off his range at shortstop, and Woody gunned down an important baserunner attempting to steal second in the late innings.

Plymouth advances to tonight's championship game at 5PM against the winner of Winnisquam and MWV. Come cheer on the guys and catch some great ball at Prescott Park in Meredith!

Exciting news from our 13-16 Tournament Team as the guys rallied from a five-run deficit to walk off Lamprey River, 8-7, to reach tomorrow's semifinals!

Plymouth trailed 6-1 heading to the bottom of the fifth, but used four singles, including a game-tying hit from Connelly, to square things at 6-6.

Lamprey River went back in front, 7-6, with a sac fly in the top of the seventh, but Garrison's clutch hit in the bottom helped Plymouth walk off with the win.

Connelly earned the win in relief, allowing just an unearned run, while Rory got the start and gave up just two earned runs over six innings.

Garrison and Rory had two hits apiece, while Rory and Woody each drove in two runs.

Plymouth will face Keene in the semifinals tomorrow (7/12) at 11AM at Prescott Park in Meredith, with the finals set for 5PM. We hope you'll join us to support the team!

Our 14U Tournament Team split its two games in the State Tournament today, running past MWV, 14-1, in the opener before falling to Keene, 12-1, in game two. Keene went on to defeat MWV in the final game of the day to capture the state title and advance to the New England Regional.

Maxton had a big game against MWV, recording a team-high three hits (including a double) while also striking out 10 hitters and allowing just two hits. Wyatt reached base three times (two singles and a walk) and scored twice, while Blake (single & triple) and Lincoln (single & double) also had two hits apiece. After taking a couple innings to get going, Plymouth broke things open with a four-run third, before adding six runs in the fourth and sealing the win with a four-run fifth.

Plymouth put plenty of balls in play against Keene, but the Keene defense played especially well. Kam had an incredible diving catch in the fourth, and walked and scored Plymouth's run, while Wes, Maxton and Blake all had hits.

A big thank you to our combined coaching staff from Plymouth and Littleton, and to all our families for driving back and forth for practices this week. Great effort today, guys!

Our Majors Tournament Team closed out the Lebanon Tournament with a pair of good games against Hartford and Norwich today.

After giving up three runs in the first inning against Hartford, Jack and Orrin each scored in the bottom half. Hartford added runs in the second and third to extend the lead to 6-2, but Wyatt, Orrin, Nash & Adam all singled in a three-run third to make it 6-5. Hartford was able to add an insurance run in the fifth to hold on for a 7-5 decision.

Norwich took a 1-0 lead in the first inning, but Henry singled and scored on Nash's double in the bottom of the frame. Jack's double sparked a three-run rally in the third as Plymouth took the lead, 4-1. Norwich rallied in front with a five-run fifth inning, capped by a three-run homer, before pulling away for an 11-4 win in the sixth.

The team ended the season with a 14-7 overall record. We're especially proud of both the skill development and growth in baseball IQ we witnessed this season.

Well done, boys!

Our Majors Tournament Team kicked off a busy weekend of baseball with a 6-3 win over the hosts in the Lebanon Tournament tonight. It was a big day for our 13-16 Tournament Team as the guys blasted Kingswood 22-1 to advance to this weekend's single elimination bracket.

Masyn led the charge, going 4-for-4 with two doubles, a triple, a single and a walk with four runs scored and three RBIs to pace the offense. He was also sharp on the mound, tossing a complete game win with 12 strikeouts.

The game was never in question, as Plymouth plated nine runs in the bottom of the first, three in the second, eight in the third and two more in the fourth to build a 22-0 lead, before Kingswood got on the board with its lone run in the top of the fifth.

Masyn was hardly the only contributor, as every hitter had at least one hit, while eight guys in the lineup had multi-hit games. Garrison (two singles and a double), Travis (three singles) and Colby (two singles and a double) all had three hits and drove in multiple runs, while Nolan went 2-for-5 with a double and team-high four RBIs.

Plymouth will play Saturday at Prescott Park, though the game time and opponent haven't been determined yet.

Keep it rolling this weekend, guys!
