Spirit Week Fun: Grab the Mic Challenge!
As part of Spirit Week, Mr. Foley and Ms. Prescott took school spirit on the road by roaming the building in search of brave staff members willing to participate in the “Grab the Mic Challenge.”
The rules were simple: two teachers competed for the mic and were given a single word. The first one to grab the mic and sing a song with that word in it won the round!
It led to plenty of laughs, friendly competition, and a lot of great school spirit. While the enthusiasm was outstanding, the singing voices… well, let’s just say they added to the entertainment!
And yes, a video was made, so keep an eye out for that soon. You won’t want to miss it! Plymouth Public Schools Plymouth EDTV

Congratulations to the Plymouth Community Intermediate School (PCIS) 6th grade students! Completing the MA 4-H Certified Babysitting Course is a significant achievement that prepares these young leaders to be responsible and skilled caregivers.
Under the guidance of instructor Tammy Cruz, CNA, students developed a comprehensive toolkit of essential skills:
Emergency Readiness: Mastery of AHA choking protocols and CPR for infants and children.
Practical Caregiving: Hands-on experience with diaper changing, feeding, and fundamental child development.
Real-World Experience: A visit to the Plymouth Early Childhood Center (preschool) allowed students to practice their new skills directly with young children.
Safety & Wellness: Critical training in nutrition, household safety, and injury prevention.
These students are now better equipped to handle the responsibilities of babysitting with confidence and care. Plymouth Public Schools

PCIS Morning Ice Hockey Club is underway! 🏒❄️
How lucky are we to have a skating rink right next door and a dedicated teacher like Ms. Proc willing to get up early and skate with the kids. Even more impressive are the students who are willing to get up at the crack of dawn to hit the ice before school!
Great to see our students building skills, connections, and having fun together to start the day. What an awesome way to kick off the morning at PCIS! Plymouth Public Schools PCIS PE

We are looking forward to welcoming all of our students and families back to PCIS! We hope everyone stayed safe and warm during the blizzard. Due to the missed days last week, we have had to abbreviate our Spirit Week activities, but we are still excited to bring some fun and school spirit into the week ahead.
