Big shoutout to two awesome student apprentices!

One is helping keep things running smoothly at Road America , doing yard maintenance and getting the motorplex ready for race day 🏁. The other is gaining valuable experience in dietary services at The Waterford at Plymouth 🍽️.

We are excited to announce that this past summer culinary students Grant Thome and Sammi Andrews earned their National ProStart Certificate of Achievement. For this certification, they have to pass the year 1 exam, year 2 exam and have worked at least 400 hours in the hospitality industry with a list of competencies met on the job.

The CTE event's overall goal is to provide an engaging platform to showcase the diverse range of opportunities available through our CTE departments while fostering stronger business community connections. The ability for our CTE departments to partner with the local business community can provide potential employment opportunities for students, classroom interaction for students and business partners, and a greater awareness of what the business community has to offer. Thus, creating a wonderful school-business partnership!

Ag Careers and Leadership was given a tour of Adell Cooperative by Agronomy Manager Mike Mulder. Students got to hear about all areas of the cooperative and the various careers there from many employees there.
