Family Resource Center of Sheboygan County Educational programming and resources to support a connected and thriving community. The Literacy Council also teaches U.S.

Parents As Teachers is an internationally recognized and federally accepted early childhood parent education and family support program. Certified parent educators provide in-home evidenced based parent education and family support to families. The program is customized to reach each familyโ€™s needs and interests based on each family's personal goals. PAT believes that parents are their childrenโ€™s

first and most influential teacher and provides them with the tools necessary to be successful at the most important โ€œjobโ€ they will ever have. Our parent educators can provide the support families need to assist with your child's healthy development and your family well-being. The Literacy Council helps adults who want to read better or learn English language skills. They do this by providing adult learners one-on-one tutoring by trained volunteer tutors to help them learn how to read, write, and/or speak English better. Citizenship classes at Lakeshore Technical College and offers Community Education Outreach (CEO), where basic English classes are offered to area businesses.

The Family Resource Center of Sheboygan County, the Plymouth WI Schools, Family Connections Inc, and Sheboygan County's Birth to Three program look forward to celebrating your childโ€™s growth!

Our Developmental Screening Day is for EVERY childโ€”not just children whose parents have concerns!

Come celebrate what your child is doing, learn whatโ€™s typical for their age, and get simple tips for supporting them as they grow toward their next milestone. Itโ€™s also a judgment-free place to ask questions and learn more about your childโ€™s development.
