We love halloween, normally this craft is done with hand prints which look a lot more like an “O” but I find getting footprints to be much easier and still just as cute!

A little morning chemistry experiment, lemon volcanos! To try it yourself cut a lemon in half put a few drops of food coloring on it and baking soda and then poke the lemon with a fork, the lemon juice reacts with the baking soda making fun colorful bubbles! Very safe and exciting for littles!

Picked up a ton of books about apples today at our local library tomorrow we will begin our unit on apples and the letter A! 🍎🍏

Outdoor, free play time is so important to a child’s development and so much learning can happen organically when you have conversations and explore nature! This year we are challenging ourselves to do 1000 hours outside! I am very excited for this challenge! If you want to learn more about the challenge and benifits of time spent in nature check out their website! There are some really cool printable trackers if you and your family want to join in, even if you don’t get to 1000 hours being intentional about getting outside as much as you can is a great step and you won’t regret it!

Summer is flying by, as we get ready for our new school year I am so excited to be using the ”playing preschool” curriculum as a guide for our many adventures. I can’t wait to try out so many great activities and lessons!

Getting ready for Father’s Day!

Because dads deserve flowers too 🌷 great hand eye coordination practice while getting some fresh air and walking around the neighborhood! Also a great way to reuse some of those Amazon boxes we all have lying around 😂

I can’t wait to get our raised beds done and do some gardening! So much fun with kids of all ages! I love a good hands on fun learning experience!
