Did you know?
If we stop flooding our brains and bodies with those feel-good chemicals on a regular basis, we stop the natural medicine that keeps us well, body, mind and spirit.
In turn, making the effort to regularly have fun can have a huge positive impact on our health and overall well-being.
Here are the Top 5 ways to regularly have fun:
1.) Some play a day keeps the doctor away! When we are having fun and laughing, a lot of feel-good hormones are released into the body. This means that the high-stress hormone, cortisol, goes down.
2.) Sometimes you have to act silly or step out of your comfort zone while having fun, and this can allow you to build confidence and decrease social anxiety over time.
3.) Lower cortisol levels will mean more head space and an overall clearer mind. You will find yourself sharper and in a clearer head space.
4.) When you have fun, you decrease your negative emotions such as stress, anxiety, and depression.
5.) Having fun raises the frequency you are vibing on and allows you to attract more positive experiences into your life.

The best adventures happen when we look up from our screen!
Instead of making phones more uninteresting, how about making people more interesting and really connect.
How? By skipping the small talk and asking better questions to get more out of your conversations - and make connections stronger than wifi.
Here are five conversation-sparking questions to make you instantly more interesting than social media and create a real human connection:
● What was the highlight of your day?
● If you could re-live one day or moment in your life, what would it be?
● If you could invent your own country, what would it be like?
● If every job was paid the same amount of money, what would you be doing?
What question would you ask?

When was the last time that you remember having fun?
If you can't quite remember or it was more than a week or two ago, you may not be living life to your fullest potential.
You might look back now at the crazy year that was 2020 thinking “How was I supposed to have fun when life is so hard?”.
And I get it. Most of the events in 2020 were clearly everything BUT fun.
But what if I told you that not having fun is what makes life so hard?
Sometimes, as we grow up and life becomes hard, we stop having fun.
We may even begin to think that having fun is not OK - because life is meant to be hard, challenging and complicated.
When we start getting too serious in life, concerned with a good work ethic and productivity instead of playing.
This lifestyle may be good for business, but it can cause problems for our mental health.
Because playing, laughing, singing, dancing… These are the things that pump those well-being chemicals.
Want to learn how to make more time for fun in your life? Then attending one of my Bucket List workshops would be great for you: https://bit.ly/3m9u9v2

Why is it that we seem to be more and more connected in the online world while the offline world feels more and more disconnected?
Why is it that we stare at a screen watching other people live their lives… and miss out on our own?
As a Bucket List Coach I know that the world is full of interesting people with exciting stories to tell.
That is why in the M.Y.B.U.C.K.E.T.L.I.S.T. Blueprint, the letter “M” stands for “Meet a personal hero”.
We might not consider our family, friends and coworkers as real heroes.
But in order to live a truly fulfilling life, we need human relationships.
In fact, the longest study ever conducted - a 75 year study about happiness by Harvard University - found that the only thing we need in life to be happy is: Healthy quality relationships.
I feel like that is very telling!

When touch screens make us lose touch, it’s time to make connections stronger than wifi!
We check our phones 221 times daily and with every check we secretly hope that someone out there just wanted to connect with us.
What we tend to forget, however, is the most beautiful and simplest connection of all: that meaty little human sitting right in front of us.
This is a reminder to disconnect to reconnect.
