We're often asked, “How’s Nickey doing these days?” The board has been wondering the same, so we took a trip to Plymouth, Indiana to visit with Nickey and Dan Shively.
As you can see, she is still the happy, smiling, lovely lady that took care of us for so long. It was great to catch up with her. Nickey said she misses the job and the people, but she is enjoying her retirement and spending time with their grandson.
Nickey was instrumental in building up the local chapter, growing the apprentice school and dedicated years of effort into the trade show.
Our PHCC North Central Indiana Chapter was beyond lucky to have had her in our corner. 🙏

Registered students will meet for orientation sessions on Tuesday, August 18th and Thursday, August 20th starting at 6:30 pm.

What an incredible night! 🎓✨ Last night we celebrated the hard work and dedication of our 2026 plumbing apprenticeship graduates.

These men and women have put in years of early mornings and late nights to get to this moment. We couldn't be prouder and we're excited to see them step into the next chapter of their careers as licensed professionals. The future of the plumbing industry is in great hands! 🔧💧
