The National Weather Service has launched a major nationwide hiring initiative, and we are looking for the next generation of meteorologists to join our team.

Because your program produces high-caliber candidates, I wanted to personally reach out and ask you to share these opportunities with your current seniors and recent alumni.

What Applicants Need to Know:

Broad Opportunities: We are filling positions at the majority of NWS offices across the country through three pooled vacancy announcement groups open through September 30, 2026.

How to Apply: Interested applicants can apply to different offices through each of the three announcements on USAJOBS.gov:
