🍎 Welcome back PCSC! Please remember that we are going back to PAID, REDUCED or FREE priced meals this school year. The paid breakfast price is $2.50 and the paid lunch price is $3.50. If you were approved for free or reduced meals last school year the free/reduced application grace period ends on September 23rd, 2026. You MUST fill out a free and reduced application each school year to qualify for free or reduced meals. Once this grace period is over, meals will revert to paid. Online applications are available at nlappscloud.com.

💰 If you would like to add funds to your student's account, you can do this digitally at MySchoolBucks.com or download the MySchoolBucks app for easy online payments or at your student's front office.

All PCSC schools participate in Offer vs. Serve, allowing students to choose the meal items they will eat while reducing food waste. A complete meal includes at least three food components, with one being a fruit or vegetable.

Please note that all à la carte items must be paid for at the time of purchase.

Every student that wishes to eat at school can most certainly get lunch. We care about nurturing every student! 🍽️

As a reminder, PCSC schools dismiss early every Friday. Be sure to check the flyer for your child’s school-specific dismissal time and plan accordingly.

🎉 AND JUST LIKE THAT… WE’RE BACK! ❤️

The first day of school is officially in the books, and WOW what a day! From big smiles and new beginnings to old friends, new faces, busy hallways, and SO much excitement, our schools were filled with the energy that makes the first day so special. 🥹📚✏️

We loved seeing everyone back where they belong and watching our incredible staff welcome students with open arms.

Here’s a little glimpse at Day One across PCSC and we have a feeling this is going to be an AMAZING year! ✨

TOMORROW, WE’RE BACK!🍎🎒

The wait is almost over… the first day of school is TOMORROW, Wednesday, August 12! 🎉

We’re ready for the laughter in the hallways, the excitement in the classrooms, new friendships, familiar faces, and all the moments that make a new school year so special.

We ask families for a little extra patience and understanding during afternoon dismissal and bus transportation. The first day brings a lot of moving pieces as students, staff, and bus drivers work to make sure everyone gets to the right place and for some students, it may even be their very first time riding a school bus!

Because of this, some buses may run a little later than usual during afternoon dismissal. Our transportation teams are working hard to get everyone home safely and efficiently.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work through the excitement of Day One together!

To our students, families, teachers, and staff: welcome back! We hope you’re ready for an incredible 2026–2027 school year.

🚧 ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE
Important Information for PCSC Families

Please plan ahead for the first day of school! 🍎

The City of Plymouth Utilities will be replacing a culvert at the intersection of E. Jefferson Street and Richter Road, beginning:

📅 Wednesday, August 12, 2026
⏰ 8:00 a.m.
🚧 Road closure expected for approximately 5 days
Weather permitting

The closure will affect traffic at the intersection and may impact your normal route to or from school.

DETOUR INFORMATION

Westbound traffic:
Richter Road → Baker Street → Columbus Drive

Eastbound traffic:
Reverse the route

🚗 Please allow additional travel time and plan an alternate route if needed. Temporary detour signage will be posted.

The roadway will reopen as soon as the pipe installation and paving are complete.

If your child still needs vaccinations before the new school year, the Marshall County Health Department is hosting a Back-to-School Vaccination Clinic on Monday, August 10, at Washington Discovery Academy.

💉 Vaccines are FREE — no cost to families.

🐾🚑 Learning Skills That Can Save a Life Even on Four Paws!

PCSC was proud to help host a specialized Tactical First Aid & CPR Training for local K-9 officers and their handlers, bringing together public safety professionals from across the area.

We’re especially proud to have had CTE EMT Instructor John Lampkins and SRO Bridget Hite in attendance for this hands-on training focused on emergency care for working K-9s.

A big thank you to Plymouth FOP Lodge 195, Dr. Lisa Booth, and Kits for K9s for providing this valuable training and helping our local responders be prepared to protect both our two-legged and four-legged community members. 🐕‍🦺❤️

Parents, as we get ready for the new school year, here’s a quick reminder to make sure your student’s registration is complete! 📝

Returning/Current PCSC Students:
If your student is already enrolled in PCSC, please complete the registration forms through your Parent PowerSchool account. You do not need to complete the pre-registration form on our website.

Important! Even if you have provided these documents in the past, you MUST upload:
📄 Your student’s Birth Certificate
🏠 Proof of Residency

Not sure if you're finished?
If your registration forms are showing GREEN, that means your student is enrolled and ready for the first day of school! ✅🎉
