The Irish Music Institute is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Paddy Keenan, one of the most influential uilleann pipers of his generation.

A founding member of The Bothy Band and a musician whose family lineage of piping spanned three generations, Paddy's artistry left an enduring mark on Irish traditional music and inspired countless pipers who followed him.

We extend our deepest condolences to his family, friends, and fellow musicians during this time.

Irish Music Classes for Young Musicians!

We are excited to launch our new music classes for kids, every Friday, starting September 25, 5:00 PM at the Gaelic League in Corktown!

No experience needed. Students can learn tin whistle, bodhrán, or fiddle, build confidence, learn traditional Irish tunes, and make new friends along the way.

Our goal is to get young musicians march and play together on St. Patrick’s Day parade on March.

FREE tin whistle for every child who registers. You can also bring your own instrument.

Classes are on pay what you can basis with $20 suggested donation.
