Faculty and staff participated in the Best Practices Fair yesterday, which kicked off with keynote speaker John Krownapple. Mr. Krownapple, an educational consultant and speaker, addressed employees on the topic of teaching with dignity. Following his remarks, teachers and staff participated in a variety of professional development sessions led by their peers. A wide variety of workshops were offered on topics such as cultural inclusivity in music, setting up an autistic support classroom, unlocking the joy of math, building student fluency, reading/writing/coding, and much more. The Best Practices Fair, organized by the Curriculum Department, offers a chance for faculty and staff to share their knowledge with each other as a new school year begins.
