Last weeks Ag Mechanics District contest this is an excellent tune up contest for the kids to begin honing in on what needs the most improvement. We didn’t win but we did a place 6th in our district with students finishing with high scores in individual sub categories. Eli Morris 4th in SMAW, Mason Sergent with a 2nd place finish in GMAW. This was also the first year they added a team activity and the boys had to wire up a mock wall. I am so proud of this young team and expect great things for the future.

Today we competed at the north Idaho ag mech contest layne took 1st in welding and 2nd in small engines. Eli and juju both took 8th in their respective events. Jax took 4th in tool ID. As a team we took 4th in the district.
