Virtual Arkansas on Voices of Quality!

Virtual Arkansas Executive Director and Superintendent John Ashworth recently joined AccredVEd’s Voices of Quality series for a conversation about the role of mission, governance, and leadership in building strong virtual programs.

In “From Mission to Meaningful Action: How Virtual Programs Build Alignment, Accountability, and Trust,” John shares how mission, governance, and leadership work together to guide the decisions we make and the work we do every day at Virtual Arkansas.

One thought especially captures that approach:

“The mission is the North Star for an organization.” — John Ashworth

For us, a mission is more than words on a page. It helps shape our priorities, guide our decisions, strengthen accountability, and keep our focus on serving Arkansas schools and students with quality and purpose.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to share the Virtual Arkansas perspective and be part of the larger conversation about quality in virtual education.
