Ms. Cheryl and Ms. Tobie are two of the first friendly faces our students, families, and community members see when they walk into the Rio Del Oro front office.

Whether a student stops by for a quick question, needs a little extra support, or simply needs a caring adult to listen, they are welcomed with kindness, attention, and love. ❤️

At Rio Del Oro, every student matters—and Ms. Cheryl and Ms. Tobie have a special way of making every child feel like they are their favorite. 🐾✨

Every Friday brings a little extra fun to Rio Del Oro…

and this week’s challenge had staff racing to call in with the correct answer! The seventh caller with the right answer won a $10 Dutch Bros gift card—and congratulations to our winner, Ms. Degischer, one of our amazing first-grade teachers! 🎉

This is just one example of how Principal Toledo leads our school with heart, leadership, and a whole lot of fun. ❤️🐾

Behind every Rio Bulldog teacher and staff member is a kid who once dreamed, learned, laughed, and was shaped by the adults who believed in them.

For many of us, our own childhood experiences are at the heart of why we chose education. We remember the teachers who made us feel seen, supported, challenged, and loved—and we wanted to turn around and do the same for the next generation. 💛

Who we are today is shaped by the best of our memories as kids. And now, we have the privilege of helping create those memories for your children. 🥹✨
