Last week, your student brought home information about our Roosevelt PTO Wreath Fundraiser!

We know… it’s still warm outside, and it feels a little EARLY to be thinking about winter and holiday decorating! 😂☀️ BUT… this is one of our wonderful fundraisers that helps support our Roosevelt students and school, so we hope you’ll consider participating!

🎁 And there are PRIZES! 🎁
Our top student earners will have the chance to win some fun prizes — check out the information below for all the details!

Whether you order for yourself, gift a wreath to someone else, or share the fundraiser with family and friends, every order helps our Roosevelt PTO! ❤️

This year, for Rock the Walk, Mrs. Snyder-Chase challenged students to raise at least $24,000 in pledges in order for her to complete a principal challenge.

Our students knocked it out of the park, raising $27,647.26!!

Today, Mrs. Snyder-Chase made good on her promise to spend the day with snakes. A huge thank you to the UWSP Herpetology Society for helping us to make good on this promise.

All students had the opportunity to learn about corn snakes and ball pythons, as well as the opportunity to touch a snake if they chose. It was a great day full of learning and celebration.

ATTENTION 6th GRADE PARENTS!

Hello everyone!

Its crazy to think that the time for our 6th graders to graduate from Roosevelt is here! We are looking for some volunteers to help us with the celebration that follows their ceremony. Our goal is to not only make their party run smooth but to also allow the 6th grade teachers to be as hands off as possible so that they can just enjoy their students.

If you are interested in helping us out, please use the link below to fill a slot. We hope you can join us!

Please join us today at 4:00 in the Staff Lounge for the final PTO Meeting of the school year.

We are in need of a new PTO President for the coming year. This is an excellent opportunity to work with an amazing group of parents, connect directly with your child's school, and make a true impact.

Please see the flyer below for more details.

If you are interested and willing to fill this role, please attend tonight's meeting or email Mrs. Snyder-Chase at [email protected].

What an amazing two days at the 2026 Gene LaRose Elementary Track Meet.

Our Roadrunners ran, threw, tugged, jumped and so much more. And while the medals they are bringing home are something to be proud of, those are not what I am focusing on.

As a principal, many things make me proud of my students. The things that make me most proud are when they show their greatness through kindness, sportsmanship, support, joy, and being great human beings.

Roosevelt brought home the 2026 Spirit Jug because our Roadrunners shone bright in their many greatnesses. While I’m proud of the athletic accomplishments, my heart is bursting with joyful pride for the amazing show of spirit and sportsmanship from these kids this week.

Well done, 5th and 6th graders, well done.
