TODAY is the Forest Family Fun Run/Walk at Boston School Forest, and the weather looks absolutely perfect! Come anytime between 4:30pm and 6:00pm to start your adventure!
Please drive slowly along Lincoln Avenue and follow the directions of the crossing guards and parking attendants.

Head into the Ski Shack to check in and pick up your free t-shirts (while supplies last).
While running/walking/strolling the 1.75-mile course, you can laugh at the posted nature jokes and play I-Spy with plush animals hidden along the trail.

After you cross the finish line, refresh yourself with cheese curds from Feltz Family Farms and Dairy Store, fruit from Kwik Trip, snacks, and water in Noble Lodge.

Donations are accepted (and appreciated) for the new Ski Shack Classroom coming in 2027! Please ask any BSF staff or volunteer about this exciting new project.

It's going to be a great evening event at Boston School Forest, and we hope to see you soon!

"Are you ready?" The annual Forest Family Fun Run/Walk is tomorrow, Thursday, August 20th, beginning at 4:30pm!! There are rolling race starts, which means you can start your own family adventure anytime between 4:30pm and 6:00pm. The trails are looking beautiful. Strollers with large, rubber tires are recommended. Please leave your furry family members at home.

This event is always free, with free t-shirts while supplies last. Thanks to our area sponsors, there are free snacks and drinks as well. THANK YOU, SPONSORS!!

Congratulations to these 29 Hunter Education Graduates! These summer school students completed over 17 hours of instruction and practice with handling fi****ms safely. They learned how to be ethical hunters and responsible citizens. Congratulations and safe hunting in the future!

Congratulations to Sophia, our 2025-2026 Boston School Forest student intern. Sophia graduates from SPASH today and will major in environmental science next year at Drake University.

Sophia cared for all the BSF animals, volunteered at all of the family events, and kept the bird feeders filled. She helped set up for lessons and clean up after them. Thank you for sharing your time and positivity with us, Sophia, and we wish you all the best in the bright future you have ahead of you!
