FAB Friday has officially begun for our 3rd-6th graders! During the Creative Connections rotation Catalina Cabello came back to share about Hispanic heritage. Our students learned about famous Hispanic people in America, some favorite Hispanic foods, and practiced some Spanish words. The 3rd & 4th graders learned a Spanish song, and the 5th and 6th graders even tried salsa dancing with some very basic steps. One 6th grader shared that she felt the happiest she's ever felt when listening to the music and dancing. 💃

Our 4K students are continuing the tradition of Dance Party Thursdays! As principal, I love getting to be part of the joy and learning happening in 4K. I also enjoyed watching Miss Kelly and our 4K students interact during PE. It’s wonderful to see our youngest Wildcats moving, learning, and having fun together.

Our students have been having fun this month in music class with Mrs. Johnson. Highlights include:

Learning Zapatito Blanco, a traditional Spanish-language children's counting-out rhyme and playground game popular in Mexico, Spain, and across Latin America, to help celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month.
