🌧️💙 RAINY DAY 1ST DAY OF SCHOOL REMINDER! 💙🌧️
We’re so excited to welcome our students to Leeds Avenue School! 🐾💙 However, with rain in the forecast, we’re making a small change to our 1st Day of School drop-off procedures.
☔ Drop-off will take place at the FRONT DOORS ONLY.
🚪 Parents will drop their child off at the door.
🐾 Students will be escorted inside to the gym or cafeteria to meet their teachers.
👋 Parents will meet their child’s teacher at the end of the school day.
Our staff will be there to make sure every student gets where they need to be safely and smoothly. 💙
Thank you for your patience, cooperation, and understanding as we start this exciting new school year! It’s a new day at Leeds Avenue School! 🌟🐾

As we welcome everyone back to Leeds Avenue School, we want to make sure all of our students, staff, and families are getting to and from school safely.

Please remember: When crossing Leeds Avenue or Linden Avenue, ALWAYS use the designated crosswalk. 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️

Taking a few extra seconds to use the crosswalk helps keep our entire school community safe. Thank you for doing your part and helping us Launch Every Learner to New Heights—safely! 🐾💙💛

🌟 It’s a New Day for the Pleasantville School District! 🌟

Today, our Leeds Avenue staff kicked off the 2026–2027 school year at district convocation at the high school, where Dr. Hyman Medley introduced the district’s theme for the year: “It’s a New Day!” ☀️

After convocation, our teachers headed back to Leeds Avenue School to get to work! 📚✨ Classrooms were prepped, halls were getting their finishing touches, and our staff came together to make sure everything is ready for our Lynx! 🐾💙
Thursday can’t come soon enough! We’re ready to welcome our students back and launch every learner to new heights! 🚀💙

Uniform Policy Reminder

At Leeds Avenue School, we want every student to feel confident, comfortable, and ready to learn! 💙💛

Please remember our uniform expectations, including grade-level colors, all-black footwear, gym-day attire, and the seasonal shorts guidelines. Uniform vouchers are available in the LAS Main Office for families who need support.
