Congratulations to our students at PS 86K and PS 161 on your spectacular photo gallery and film premiere this week! 📸🎬

For the past 8 weeks, students have been busy at work learning the foundations of photography and video making. We loved welcoming family and loved ones to share in celebrating their culminating projects.

Thank you to TAs Barthelemy Atsin and Sarah Nakhost-Karimi for your commitment to these wonderfully creative students!

PS 8 Stop Motion Animation Film Premiere

After 12 weeks of production, we were excited to share 18 stop-motion animation films created by students working under the guidance of Magic Box Productions Resident Teaching Artist, Danilo.

These films were conceived and developed by students across five classes, spanning 2nd through 5th grade. A celebration of imagination, storytelling, and hands-on filmmaking brought to life frame by frame.

Congratulations to all! 🎥

A huge thank you to for having us at Face to Face 2026! Our team had the best time connecting with artists, educators, and administrators doing such vital work.

And congrats to our very own Principal Teaching Artist, Danilo Randjic-Coleman on an incredible workshop, “Using our Voice: An Introduction to Podcasting.” 🎙️
