The new grant opportunity for Urban Environmental Education Centers, administered by DEC, supports the Governor's environmental justice platform and promotes education. These grants are available for community-based organizations to develop environmental education centers in urban areas to educate residents about their environment, ecology, environmental justice challenges, green technology, and urban environmental sustainability.
