Come put on a lab coat and conduct soil analyses with us!
Meet us on Saturday, November 15 at 12PM in the Suburban Biodiversity Conservation Center. Bring up to 3 soil samples stored in ziplock bags to be analyzed. The samples should be 1-2 cups volume from gardens, lawns, tree beds, or anywhere people or animals interact with soil.
This event is hosted by Perl Egendorf, PhD, Assistant Professor of Environmental Studies and Science at Pace University.
About the Mobile Soil Lab: This lab was created for the scientific laboratory to exist as a public space. The lab seeks to make the concepts, methods, procedures, insights, and applications of science transparent and accessible to people of all ages and backgrounds, particularly people who have been systemically and historically excluded from academic science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).
