Welcome Back Teddy Sharkey (Orioles)⛽️

Teddy has successfully rehabbed back to full strength this year after missing last year due to injury. Teddy has worked hard to improve the small details in his throw (Posture/Unwind) and his mobility. Finally regaining his electric fastball (Avg 95 MPH T97) that he showcased out of Coastal Carolina 🔥

This year:
18.2 IP
21 K
7 BB
1.45 ERA

Keep going Teddy Sharkey 📈

Lucas Edwards Velocity Progression

Strong finish to the summer for Lucas, averaging 94 and touching 95 MPH for the first time in his exit pen.

Another big jump for Lucas over the past couple months, after averaging around 90 and touching 92 this spring.

Still just starting to tap into his full potential, but really impressive to watch his progression over the past year.
A lot more left in the tank.

A big summer from Villanova RHP Jake Francis 🎯

Jake averaged 88 MPH last year and topped at 91.5, here he is hitting 94 in his exit pen before heading back to Villanova Baseball 🔥

Jake is a short strided rotator, his goals this summer were to add length to his delivery and be able to set up his turn to finish thru the catcher without getting into early extension.

He was 91-3 during for his last 3 bullpens and finally hitting a PR of 94 🔥 (Ignore the arm side misses bc he is a strike throwing machine).

A big July & August from Alex Bouchard (Red Sox)

He had a 2.45 ERA over 22IP with 27K to 10BBs over that span.

Last night he racked up 16 Whiffs over 3.2 IP while striking out 6 and allowing 1 ER. Hell of a job Alex Bouchard . Keep going 📈

Drills to help Shift Posture/COM OFF the TOES 👣

Posterior Tilt ➡️Upright Posture ➡️Drop vertically ➡️Throw

You’ll often hear us talk about controlling the center of mass and maintaining a neutral posture. One of the most common movement flaws we see is athletes dumping into anterior pelvic tilt and shifting their weight too far toward their toes.

When this happens, it can lead to early rotation and overuse of the torso, making it more difficult to sequence movement efficiently.

Here are three of our favorite drills to help athletes improve control of their center of mass, maintain better posture, and shift pressure back toward the middle of the foot.

1. Front Foot Elevated
2. Walk Backs
3. Wedge Drill

Gavin Rigby Summer PDP 🤝

This spring, 89 was Gavin’s best fastball. Last week it was his average.

Gavin Rigby is a rising sophomore RHP at Swarthmore College. This past season he averaged 85 and topped out at 89.

When he came in for his evaluation this summer, a few things stood out. At 6’7”, Gavin has a ton of length, but he wasn’t using it. His delivery was heavily rotational, he was dumping his torso early, and his arm action was stabby and tense. Nothing in the sequence gave his arm time to work.

The goals was as follows:
-get him moving more linearly
-loosen up the arm action to buy more time
-Keep the torso stacked and rotate thru a lower slot

We spent the summer using drills and constraints to clean up those patterns and help him find better positions throughout his delivery.

Last week, Gavin threw his first bullpen of the summer.
Averaged 89. Topped out at 90. New lifetime PR.

Excited to see what he does with this spring. 📈

Summer PDP Biggest Gainer 🤝 James Gladden

Two looks at a 97 MPH FB from

This past season h averaged 90 MPH this year and topped at 93.7 MPH ❌

Here he is touching 97 and averaging 94+ just 3 months later. 👀

That’s a PLUS +4 to his AVG and TOP heater. The summer can change your career if you use it wisely.

Hell of a job James. Will be a big weapon for this spring.
