Young children are naturally inquisitive and full of wonder about the world around them. In this case it just takes some rain, a bit of dirt and a watchful teacher to take advantage of this innate curiosity . Our teacher helps the toddlers discover the joys of nature and exploration as well as “gentle touches “ with earthworms.

Thank you to The Clorox Company for their community support and generous donation! We have been back on site with babies since June, cleaning and disinfecting throughout each day. The cleanliness of our rooms is key to keeping our staff and children healthy. We appreciate the products that support our efforts at HorizonEEC, STEAM Preschool and our KidsClub Programs 😊

This year we created our very own pumpkin patch for the kiddos to enjoy and explore in their small groups 🎃
Scarecrows, gourds, pumpkins and straw OH MY! And each took home a Pumpkin-Pie pumpkin 🥧 (recipe included) after our Trick or Treat costume parade . So much FUN!
Thank you to our awesome teachers for all the great pictures and efforts to make this a fun & safe Halloween for our little ones.

Good nutrition during the first 3 years of life is vital for healthy growth and development. Establishing good nutrition practices early can also help children develop healthy dietary patterns. Adequate nutrition during infancy and early childhood is essential to ensure our children’s growth, health and development reaches their full potential.

Hello Friends of HorizonEEC!!
We have been so busy playing and enjoying the kiddos that we forgot about our FB page😳 We have been back on site since June 1st so here’s a few photos from the Summer.

Today the children had fun making strawberry muffins. Everyone took turns pouring milk from the measuring cup and stirring the batter. They carefully used a spoon to fill the cupcake pan. For our afternoon snack, we enjoyed eating our yummy strawberry muffins. 😍🍓🧁

This week the children had fun easel painting❤️🎨
