We are also proud to announce that Ms. Moina Shaiq will be speaking at TEDxAmadorValleyHigh. Ms. Shaiq is a resident of Fremont for the past 35 years. She is the mother of four and a grandmother of two. As an active community member of the Tri-City Community devoted to building bridges of understanding, she serves as president of the Tri-City Interfaith Council and founder of the Meet a Muslim initiative. She is also a recipient of "Woman of the year" award by Assembly member Bill Quirk.

We would like to welcome Mr. Ali Michael Cannon as a speaker. A recognized leader in the transgender community, he has been invited to speak on various panels and organized numerous conferences and events for the LGBT, Jewish and Q***r Jewish communities.
