We’re at the 2026 ACEEE Summer Study on Energy Efficiency in Buildings in Pacific Grove, California!

Frontier Energy’s James Haile will present “The Benefits of Zoning with Ducted Hydronic Fan Coils and Air-to-Water Heat Pumps.”

James will share findings related to zoning configurations, airflow strategies, buffer tanks, short cycling and California energy code requirements.

Scott and Cody recently attended an AESP Midwest Chapter event focused on the energy efficiency landscape and triennial plans of large investor-owned utilities in the Midwest.

We love seeing our team connect in person, learn from industry leaders and bring back insights that support our work in energy efficiency and clean energy.

We were excited to attend the 2026 Passive House Network Conference earlier this month in New Haven, Connecticut.

One of the biggest takeaways was that high-performance buildings need high-performance delivery processes. It’s not just about having a strong design model, it’s also about making sure the construction team can preserve that intent through program management, procurement, training, quality control, commissioning and handover.

We appreciated the opportunity to learn from industry leaders and connect with others working to improve building performance.

We had a great time attending the 2026 CEC/EPRI Electrification Summit in Sacramento, California, on June 10!

The summit was a great opportunity to connect with others working to advance electrification across California. We were especially excited to see Nancy show off her poster on electrifying California homes.
