The performance of gymnastics skills demonstrates perseverance and an ability to overcome fears. As gymnasts master new skills they develop self-esteem. They also develop both mental and physical strength that is not only useful in gymnastics, but will also serve them well in their future endeavors. Some athletes choose gymnastics for recreation. Some train to enhance their health, coordination and overall well physical being. Others train to participate in the competitive aspect of the sport coupled with Olympic dreams. We are proud to have a mixture of all of these athletes in one facility. WCOGA will strive to share with each and every child our experience and knowledge of the beautiful sport of gymnastics.
