The World Kido Federation, in conjunction with the Hanminjok Hapkido Association, is proud to announce the Chairman In Sun Seo Original Form Preservation Global Seminar Series: Deep Water — Art of Hapkido.
This special global seminar series is dedicated to preserving and sharing the “Original Form” training, techniques, and concepts of Chairman In Sun Seo with practitioners around the world.
Led by World Kido Federation President Steve Sung Kwon Seo, the series begins August 17 in Stockton, California, USA, before continuing for a total of 13 seminars spanning four continents and six countries.

Another great virtual training session on the books! GM Steve is always striving to find ways to work with his members on a regular basis. Virtual training has been a great way to stay connected and updated with school owners and members, with dedicated one-on-one time.
Today GM Steve was able to train with Meghan JKJN, owner of Next Gen Hapkido in Austin, TX. GM Steve will be visiting Austin this October, so be sure to save the date if you are in the area or are planning to fly in!

On July 11, 2026, 50 members participated in a Preservation Workshop led by President Scott Seo. The workshop focused on preserving the original Hapkido forms and self-defense techniques developed by Chairman In Sun Seo. Training was divided into three levels, each tailored to the participants' experience and responsibilities:
General Training - Intensive practice and analysis of foundational Hapkido forms and core self-defense techniques.
Instructor Training - Detailed study of wrist-lock applications and the principles of rotational movement.
Dojang Head Training - Refining the practical combat effectiveness of fundamental self-defense techniques.
President Scott Seo emphasized the importance of preserving and passing these principles to future generations, stating, "Practicing these authentic techniques—which embody the philosophy and spirit of President In Sun Seo—not only develops superior skill and physical fitness but also cultivates the true spirit of a martial artist." He added that the Association remains committed to preserving and passing on this authentic Hapkido heritage.
