On Thursday, our War Eagle Family will remember and celebrate the life of Dolly Parton. We honor the values she embodied throughout her remarkable life: kindness, perseverance, generosity, humility, and a commitment to helping others. From her support of literacy and education to her unwavering belief in treating everyone with respect, Dolly inspired people to dream big while never forgetting where they came from. In recognition of her lasting impact and legacy, we invite all students and staff to wear pink on Thursday August 27, as a symbol of celebration, gratitude, and remembrance for a woman whose compassion and spirit touched countless lives.

🍕🍪SCHOOL NUTRITION REMINDERS🍎🌭

As a reminder, students are not allowed to charge à la carte items to their meal accounts.

Additionally, students whose meal accounts have a negative balance are not allowed to purchase à la carte items, regardless of whether they have cash on hand.

We encourage families to regularly check meal account balances to avoid any disruptions. Thank you for your partnership and understanding!

Good afternoon, War Eagle Family,

Here are some important reminders for this week:

1. Tomorrow, Monday, August 24, is the last day for students to turn in schedule change request forms to the counseling office.

2. Wednesday is our late arrival day, so that teachers can collaboratively plan with their departments. As a result, classes will begin at 9:45. Doors will open for car riders and drivers at 9:15. Buses will run as regularly scheduled.

3. Finally, our first home football game is this Friday, August 28.We hope everyone has a great evening.

We look forward to seeing our War Eagles back in the building tomorrow for another great week of learning.

The breakfast aims at keeping counselors up-to-date on the latest developments in the admission process within the UT system.💥🎓
