One final visit to wrap up our Community Helpers theme! Today we had two more very special visitors join us! 🛠️🔧🚧

Mrs. Becca works for CAT selling dump trucks, and her husband, Mr. Corey, is a diesel mechanic who helps repair and maintain those huge machines—how cool is that?!

Our students loved learning about the different tools used to work on big dump trucks and were amazed by just how heavy and large some of them were. A few of the tools were even taller than the students! 😲

To top it all off, every student received awesome CAT hats and fun sticker sheets to take home. We are so thankful for such a fun and hands-on visit to end our Community Helpers unit!

👩🏼‍⚕️ 🩺 Another wonderful Community Helpers visit today! We had such a fun morning with Mrs. Emily Harvison from Grace Pediatrics! She taught us about some of the tools she uses during checkups and when helping patients feel better. The students loved listening to their heartbeats, trying out the blood pressure cuff, and exploring some of the cool medical instruments. We even got to dress up as doctors ourselves!

We have loved all of our special community helper visitors this week and are so thankful for the people who help care for our community every day!

More Community Helpers fun! 🚒🔥

We had a visit from the Pleasant View Volunteer Fire Department and our students had an absolute blast! The children learned about the many tools firefighters use, explored different types of hoses, checked out the firefighters’ protective gear, and even got an up-close look at the fire truck!

A huge thank you to Ms. Sydney and Mr. Patrick for going above and beyond to make this such a fun and educational experience for our kiddos. We loved every minute of it! ❤️

🚓🚨We had such a fun and memorable visit this morning from some amazing police officers and detectives! 🚨🚓

They were so kind and interactive—each child had the chance to try on their vests, sit inside the police vehicle, and even turn on the lights and sirens. We also got to hear the super loud horn, which was definitely a highlight (that’s why some ears are covered)! Thank you for helping us learn more about our community helpers in such an exciting way!
