As I was finalizing things on my last day of school, I found all these wonderful notes in the comment box. Such a great thing to find. I just had to share them with everyone.

Two Rivers Families—
We wanted to clarify and reassure everyone:

Students recently brought home emergency fire blankets as part of our Junior Firefighting Program. These blankets are intended for adult use only in emergencies and should remain sealed. We’ve already sent out a safety reminder to families and are happy to collect any blankets families prefer not to keep.

We appreciate the feedback we’ve received and are being thoughtful moving forward about what is sent home. Student safety and family partnership are always our top priorities.

I sincerely apologize if this caused any confusion or concern for your family. We’re committed to learning from this and improving how we communicate and support our community.
