Some FCCLA members spend their Friday nights under the lights. The Mustangs brought home a "W" this week! ❤️ Pictured L to R are Andee Whitener, Alex Michael ( #51), Chris Azlin, and Jayce Adams ( #2).

Andee and Alex, both 2nd year members, were involved in numerous club activities last year and attended the state conference. Chris and Jayce, a couple of this year's new Midland members, have both expressed interest in being involved with the many opportunities with FCCLA!

Is it Friday?!?!

Maybe not, but today was "Fry"day in FACS Investigations! The 7th graders have been learning about kitchen safety and sanitation and now we're moving on to some basic cooking skills. Part of the class got to choose to scramble or fry 2 eggs each. Take a look to see them in action!

2024 Arkansas FCCLA Leadership Conference in the books!

It was fun, educational, and motivational. Our members gained some amazing experience interacting with each other as a chapter team and with some students from other Arkansas districts. While Mrs. Whitener worked as an evaluator of STAR Events, Mr. Pruitt and MHS members sat in various teambuilding and leadership work sessions. There were periods of waiting, laughing, and smiling for photos! We enjoyed a fun time with other state members dancing the night away at the Glow Dance! Day #2 consisted of a mid-morning session full of state officer sign offs and recognition. After lunch, we headed back to Mustang territory with some coffee for fuel. All in all, Conference was a great success! We ALL learned lots and have begun discussing things to do before competition and conference next year!
