2026 National FFA Agriscience Fair Preliminary Results!

We are extremely proud to announce that six Pleasant Hope FFA projects have been named National Finalists in the 2026 National FFA Agriscience Fair, with one additional project earning Bronze recognition.

Our National Finalists are:

National Finalists will now advance to the interview portion of the competition. Final placings will be announced in October.

Show Team members spent the week at the Gold Buckle Extravaganza where they participated in all kinds of competitive events along with showing. Mr. Brown even helped fit a couple of the pigs.
Students competed in Livestock Judging, Stockmens Knowledge, Ag Sales, and Corn Hole. Charlee and Kaira Feith took home 3rd place in the Sales contest and Daulton, Daylin, and Randall were 4th place.

On July 13, our officer team had the opportunity to attend the Area X Officer Leadership Training! Throughout the day, we developed leadership skills that will help us better serve our chapter, school, and community. We learned the importance of supporting our communities, working together as a team, and strengthening our communication with one another. We also gained valuable insight into advocating for agriculture, exploring new recruitment strategies, and becoming more effective in our individual officer roles.

The following day, we continued building our teamwork during an officer ice skating outing. It was a great opportunity to strengthen our friendships, improve our collaboration, and grow closer as a team. We're excited to use everything we've learned to make a positive impact and serve our community to the best of our ability this year.

We can't wait to see what this year has in store! 💙💛🌽

It has been a busy summer for the 5 inaugural show team members. We went to 5 shows in the last 45 days. They all have grown so much this season, and become much better showman. There have been quite a few ribbons and many memories collected this summer. Yesterday wrapped up our summer fairs, our next show is the Gold Buckle Extravaganza.

Our 2026 Officer Retreat in Hermitage was one to remember! 🌊☀️ We spent the day making memories on the lake—pontoon rides, swimming, tubing, and cooling off on the splash pad. That evening, we got down to business by planning events and goals for the upcoming year. We wrapped up the night with games of Uno and co****le, plus s’mores by the fire. We’re excited for everything ahead and ready to make this year the best one yet! 💙💛

We have had a busy time in Texas! We got settled in on Monday and
