Science Club
We have science club on the second and fourth Wednesday from about 3:35 until 5 pm.
This week we broke out a few microscopes and experimented with them.
We looked at the standard things. Hair, including a split end.
Feathers.
A few prepared slides that I use for my Anatomy classes.
Then we got a small pipette and looked at water from the bottom of my fish tanks.
Some interesting things growing in there.
We will need to repeat this with my Biology class some day.

Pictures of my room in the winter.
The first one is of the pomegranate seedlings we started. Simply saved a few seeds from a pomegranate and sprouted them.
The second and third ones are opposite angles of the Forrest at the front of the room.
It contains two banana plant, a coffee tree, a ficus tree, a Meyer lemon we grew from seed couple years ago, a Stephanotous vine (a tropical vining flower), a few Plumeria trees, and several Ti plants.
In the first of these two you can almost see the aquarium.
The last picture is of two Dwarf Cavendish banana plants. We should have several of these this summer.

I’d like to say hello (again) to everyone who visits this site.
It’s been a while since we’ve used this page, but the plan is to begin using it on a regular basis.
