I heart art.

Ever wonder what our afternoons at the Pleasant Hill library look like? Looks like kids and adults in the flow, happily creating together! We get a lot of donations from the community (see fake eggs and lemons in the later pics) and sometimes we just throw all of these “treasures” onto a table, stand back, and watch the creativity ignite! It is safe to say that Wednesdays at the library are both Abby and my (Amy) favorite day of the week. Thank you and the people of P Hill!

Cutting magazine or old calendar pics in half and adding the rest of the drawing is always a hit with just about any age! we love this dog by a second grade artist!

Love this jellyfish art from a 3rd grade artist! She used spray paint, acrylic paint markers, acrylic paint and sharpies. She took her time and let it flow, kinda like a jellyfish! Thank you Valhalla School for having us! I believe we have been going there for 7 years now!!!!

Ever fall in love with a student’s project and wish you could take it home? This bunny does it for me! The Mona Lisa of rabbits. Is this rabbit suspicious? Shy and yearning? what do you see? This artist is a third grader!!!!

This is arguably the best read aloud book for kids there ever was. And for adults it can be thought provoking, am I in fact the monster? No way!!!! Right? 😜
