Footprints Lutheran Preschool is a Christian organization in Pleasant Hill, CA. We are creative, fun, engaging and our goal is to grow Christ's life in every heart.

We are seeking a Christian (Lutheran a plus), creative, fun-loving Preschool Director to lead our staff and enrich the minds of our children. Our ideal candidate will be highly organized and love interacting with children. We want you to have extensive experience working in a preschool setting (working with specially abled children a plus). As Preschool Director, you should have excellent communication skills and the ability to establish rapport with every one. You will work with the team to create a warm, nurturing environment for our students. Ultimately, you should be able to coordinate daily activities while motivating students to develop and learn new skills. The director is a member of the Faith Lutheran Church ministry staff, and as such reports to the pastor.

*Liaison between the congregation and preschool

*Recruitment and admissions

*Orientation

- Additional Responsibilities

*Teach as needed

Qualifications:

- Director experience preferred

- Pass a background check including fingerprint through LiveScan

- Sixteen hours of health and safety training pursuant to Health and Safety Code Section 1596.866

- CPR/AED Certified

- Bachelor’s Degree with a major emphasis in child development

- 3 - 5 years teaching experience

- Twelve units in early childhood administration or staff relations

- Ability to recognize and maintain confidentiality as appropriate

- Good verbal and written communication and organizational skills

- Self-motivated and flexible.

- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced working environment with minimal supervision

- Experience in conflict resolution

- Computer skills required to support all systems

Schedule:

10 hour shift

The Footprints Preschool Dinner and a Movie 🍿 is happening now ! I caught Ms Traci and Ms Myra delivering the boxed dinners and desserts 🍨 to the movie 🎥 goers ! What a fun filled fundraiser this is !
