Valhalla Elementary Edible Garden

Valhalla Elementary Edible Garden Growing Healthy Kids Garden and Nutrition Education Program The garden project exists thanks to parent volunteers, community donations, and fundraising events.

Valhalla Elementary School's edible garden was introduced in the 2011-12 school year and began to take shape the following fall. In addition to the first edible garden on campus, there will also be a lunchtime composting program and vermiculture (worms!). We are always looking for volunteers for our Garden Team as well many "worker bees" to help make that garden grow. Parents, teachers, staff, and the community are encouraged to participate. If you are interested in becoming a part of the Garden Team or just want to find out more information about the project, please message the Garden Coordinator (AKA one of the "Garden Fairies") Priscilla Kalugdan on this page.
