The Sustainability Committee will be hosting another clothing swap on Thursday, Oct. 9 from 11:00 – 1:00 in the commons.
The swap is designed both to save usable clothes from the landfill and to provide DVC students with free, wearable garments. Students need not donate to participate. At prior events, we have upcycled more than 400 pounds of clothes in a single day.

Great news!
Congratulations to Diablo Valley College for being awarded the 2022 Excellence in Energy and Sustainability Award! DVC’s Art Complex project has been selected by the Board of Governors for the Best Innovative Project – Large District. The award recognizes excellence in energy and sustainability through careful project planning and implementation, resulting in energy and cost savings.
