Wow wow wow, I’m blown away by my students’ watercolor paintings in my Autumn Watercolor Scenes class!

The paintings are soooooo frameable and detailed. I just love how these turned out and can’t wait for our final painting this Friday.

Wow, I’m so impressed with the work coming out of my Draw & Paint kids enrichment class! 👏

The kids are working so hard and I couldn’t be prouder. Today we worked on pastel still life drawings.

The focus was drawing realistically and finding lights and darks in your objects (aka finding value). 💡

After school enrichment art class is well underway and suuuuucchhh a colorful blast!

After making their own custom sketchbook covers with the colorful wrapping paper we’ve moved on to filling them.

First value and shading then watercolor intro with color mixing! 🎨

Just finished up the strawberry baskets in the Picnic in Watercolor class I’m teaching. 🍓🎨

Day 1 we made playful wet-into-wet shapes that were later used as backgrounds for picnic themed drawings.

Next week we are working on painting glass - cups and bottles. Picture an artisanal lemonade bottle and that’s what we will be painting.

We will also be practicing using complementary colors to create realistic shadows.

Can’t wait for more summer painting!
