It is our pleasure to present a loving and nurturing environment for your family. We provide a safe, loving, and nurturing home away from home to children.

We offer a unique program where it is our goal to provide hands on experiences and a carefully balanced curriculum of learning and play for preschoolers. Our curriculum is a carefully planned play based program which focuses on learning through play and kindergarten readiness. We take pride in being respectful of the different developmental levels of preschool aged children, and offering a well balanced environment.

Invitation to Play
Who Is in Your Family?
This simple Pre-K invitation encourages children to create and represent the people who are important to them using open-ended materials. As they build their families, children strengthen creativity, fine motor skills, language, early storytelling, and social-emotional development.
In our Pre-K classroom, our low teacher-to-child ratio allows teachers to slow down, listen, ask meaningful questions, and extend each child’s thinking during experiences like this.
These seemingly simple moments of play are incredibly valuable. They build communication, confidence, problem-solving, independence, and the social skills children need to be truly ready for kindergarten.
At Stepping Stones, kindergarten readiness is about so much more than academics, it’s about preparing the whole child.

Our Little Learners are exploring triangles with a fun, hands-on loose parts activity. Using gems, pom-poms, corks, and other materials, the children worked together to fill and trace the triangle shapes.
Activities like this make shape recognition meaningful while also strengthening fine motor skills, spatial awareness, creativity, sorting, and hand-eye coordination.

In each of our classrooms, the children work together to create their very own Kindness Tree. Throughout the day, children can earn leaves for kind gestures, thoughtful decisions, helping a friend, and making good choices.
They are always SO proud when they receive a leaf and can’t wait to show their families at pick-up!
Our Kindness Trees help children see that kindness matters. They encourage empathy, cooperation, positive decision-making, and a sense of pride in doing something good for others. 🌳 ❤️

Tearing paper is a great way for little hands to build fine motor strength, hand-eye coordination, and bilateral coordination as children learn to use both hands together. It also strengthens the small muscles needed for future skills like writing, cutting, buttoning, and dressing.
And the best part? To children, it just feels like PLAY! 🥰

Often during tours parents share concern that their child won't sleep at nap time.....they almost always do 😴❤️😴❤️😴

Our Pre-K students practice "self-serve snack", where they pour their own milk, prepare their snack space, and clean up when they're finished. While it may seem simple, these everyday tasks build important kindergarten readiness skills
