Art for Children offers weekly children's art classes taught by professional artist Heidi Adkins in her home in Pleasant Grove. Drawing skills are emphasized, while exploring with paint, watercolors, ink, collage, colored pencils, pastels, charcoal, printmaking, and various 3-D materials. Many parents have commented that as their child's artistic skills and vision expand, their confidence grows as

well. Studies have shown that the arts foster the growth of brain cells associated with intelligence. "Art is intelligence having fun!"

Who needs a "CREATURE FEATURE" SUMMER ART ADVENTURE !! I have 3 spots left. Classes are one hour, Wednesdays at 2:00 starting June 15, for 5 weeks, skipping the week of July 4th. Class size is limited to 5 children, and $12 per week covers all supplies and instruction and FUN! Need to miss a week? No problem, just pay for 4. AGES 6-12 Comment for sign-ups or questions!

Do you have a child with a unique, creative soul in need of artistic nurturing? I have a few openings left in my 12 week Winter Art Adventure for Children. The class is limited to 5 children, and is on Wednesdays at 4:45-5:45, starting January 11th. We will explore several artistic media, improve drawing skills, grow in confidence and intelligence (really!) and make new friends! It is a great place to spend an hour each week, I promise!
