This week we "peck, peck, pecked" like the super woodpecker through anything we could find. We used tools in a very open ended play scenario and learned the value of repetitive play, while practicing persistence..."repetition leads to perfection!"

Painting the winter sky is such a beautiful lesson! We worked on collaboration, transformation, problem solving, creativity, and engaged our senses in a mixed age class...we did all of this through PLAY! We ended our time together with warm winter punch and treats! It doesn't get much better than that! There are still a couple spots left for the season! www.tinkergarten.com/classes

Free Tinkergarten trials are coming up this week, and I’ve got just a few spots left! We'll be painting the winter sky as we play seasons. Find these trials and more at https://tinkergarten.com/leaders/carlie.davis

Fall lantern walk 2019! I love how this program brings family and communities together! It was so great teaming up with other local leaders to celebrate the change in season and coming of darker days! Martinmas reminds us to shine our own lights on a dark world!

We engaged multiple senses today as we used our water + glue mixture to make magical lanterns in celebration of Martinmas! We also reminded ourselves that it's not about the product but the process that is most important when creating anything! Tomorrow we will join up with multiple Tinkergarten classes as we celebrate the halfway point between autumn and winter with a fall lantern walk using our creations from today's class! We also extended the learning by using our magical paper to paint our science sacks! What amazing scientist these children are! @ American Fork Amphitheater

Bring your neighbors, family and friends and join us for a Tinkergarten tradition! We'll be making lanterns during class in two weeks. If you're not enrolled in a class this season you can still join us on the walk! DIY lantern instructions can be found at Tinkergarten.com. Bring your lanterns and Tinkergarten will provide the tea lights!

Transforming and Transporting are only two of the many behavioral schema that universally brings joy to the developing brains of children! Add in some imagination and a few magical ingredients and you've got yourself an experience that will last a lifetime!! Our class this week had a delightful time making "fall brew", one of my favorite lessons to date!! Kids need open ended play scenarios in the outdoors with their loved ones! This is how kids learn best and how families connect on the most joyous levels! Tinkergarten is the only program out there that accomplishes this! Join a class! It's not too late!!
Our class went on a bear hike last week! We used our proprioceptive sense to take on obstacles along the way! We swam through the rushing waters, climbed the mighty mountains, and rolled down the roly poly hills!! Join a class and learn with us through PLAY!!
