What an exciting final week of school! 🎉 From our annual Dance Festival to our end-of-year assembly and so many special moments in between, it has been a week full of celebration, memories, and Patriot Pride. ❤️🤍💙 We are so proud of our students and grateful for an amazing school year!

Good morning! Overnight, our area did not receive the snow that was predicted, so school will be held in person today at our normal start time for the Pleasant Grove campus.
We understand that conditions may be different where you live, and some neighborhoods may have received snow. Please use your best judgment and decide what feels safest for your family when traveling to and from school. We also recognize that some families may choose to arrive a little later this morning based on road conditions.
Thank you for your thoughtfulness, flexibility, and continued partnership. Please travel safely, take your time, and know we look forward to welcoming students who are able to join us today.

Inclement Weather & School Safety Update
Dear Parents and Faculty,

At John Hancock Charter School, the safety of our students, families, and staff always comes first. When inclement weather creates unsafe travel conditions, we follow a clear and careful plan to keep everyone safe.

Here is what you can expect:

We closely monitor weather and road conditions, including unplowed roads and icy conditions.

A decision will be made by 6:00 am if it is unsafe for students or faculty to travel to school.

If conditions are unsafe, we will:

Please be sure to check your ParentSquare app and email/text in the morning to know whether we will have in-person learning.

If school moves to at-home learning:

Learning will continue from home for the day.

You will receive an email from your child’s Dean and/or teacher with simple instructions on how to access learning activities.
