As yesterday was the one year anniversary of the Kyle Rittenhouse acquittal (I agree with it whole heartedly), I thought I’d share some of my favorite memes on the subject. Enjoy:

While most of the world slept overnight, this young rookie policeman was gunned down while protecting his small community of Elwood, Indiana.
Just after 2:00 a.m., a Elwood Police Department Officer Noah Shahnavaz, conducted a traffic stop on a 2012 Buick LaCrosse near the intersection of State Road 37 and County Road 1100N in Madison County, Indiana.
Without warning, the violent habitual offender out on parole quickly exited the driver seat and fired multiple rounds into Officer Shahnavaz’s patrol vehicle, ambushing the officer before he even had a chance to react. Before additional officers arrived, the convicted felon fled from the scene in the Buick.
Responding officers from Elwood Police Department and Madison County Sheriff's Department located the severely wounded officer and administered life-saving measures until medical personnel arrived. The officer was transported by ambulance to Ascension St. Vincent Mercy in Elwood and later flown by helicopter to an Indianapolis area hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. The officer had just graduated from the police academy a short three months ago and was US Army veteran who served overseas.
Officer Shahnavaz is the 150th officer to be killed in the line of duty so far this year.
Officer Shahnavaz was only 24 years old, with his whole life and career ahead of him.
