Institute for Research Design in Librarianship - IRDL Accepting applications beginning December 1, 2013. Deadline: February 1, 2014.

A professional development program and support system for academic and research librarians, designed to increase the number of librarians with specific skills in conducting research and disseminating the results. Academic and research librarians employed in the United States are eligible to apply for this nine-day continuing education opportunity, supplemented with pre-institute learning activities and a personal learning network that provides ongoing mentoring.
