Oops, I missed Thursday so here’s ‘Thursday with Ms. Sandra’ on Friday! This week, we are painting Van Gogh inspired Sunflower- make sure you see the video sounds on as it runs with awesome sunflower song! Here’s what you need:
Black construction paper, cotton swabs, plastic knife or regular butter knife, tempera paints in multi colors.
1. On black construction paper, trace or draw a circle for the sunflower center.
2. Using yellow and orange dipped cotton swab and dab a dot all around the circle.
3. Draw a ray petals and fill in with yellow/orange paint.
4. Add stem and color.
5. For the background, use mix of blue and white and by using plastic knife make swirl, windswept patterns!
